Wake Me Up.
I should ink my skin with your name. Take my passport out again, just replace it. See, I could do without a tan on my left hand where my fourth finger meets my knuckle. And I could run you a hot bath, and fill it up with bubbles. Maybe you're loveable. Maybe you're my snowflake, when your eyes turn from green to grey in the winter I'll hold you in a cold place. You should never cut your hair, 'cause I love the way you flick it off your shoulder. You will never know just how beautiful you are to me, but maybe I'm just in love when you wake me up.

tuesday night ponderings.
there are things about me that not everyone knows,
of course, like everyone.
small pieces that make up who i am.
movies, songs, books, quotes, people, words, pictures, places, tv, characters, lifelifelife.
almost famous,
tiny dancer,
to kill a mockingbird,
"all life is a game of luck!"
mum,
cheerful,
polaroid,
france,
band of brothers,
atticus finch.
is a start.
i love a lot of things. i'm so in love with so many things, that i just love being alive so i can experience these things. i am so afraid to die, mainly because i won't be able to see and live these things again. so, i will live it up while i can.
i will watch as many tv shows as i like.
i will go to the same restaurant with my friend each week, because we love it.
i will waste my money on going to the movies.
i will drink.
i will laze in bed for hours.
i will stay at home with my flatmate and watch harry potter/play harry potter wii/harry potter lego because it's totally awesome.
and enjoy every minute of it.
i'm off to watch band of brothers and sleep, because my eyes hurt and my mind hurts sometimes from thinking. that is all.
whoever you are, i love you.
sunday - slow club.

I'll be coming home to you, my heart is fonder now you've not been around.
I'll be coming home for you, now that I have learned how a heart can hurt.
Well, I'll be coming home for you, I heard that you're in bits, and I hope that I can fix it.
I'm coming home to heal your wounds, I've got a needle and thread to stitch back up your head.
But no one owns the sea, 'cept you and me.

i knew you were waiting for me.
I say the wrong things at the wrong time; my jokes are interpreted as something serious, and when I mock over-react about something people think I am actually over-reacting.
I wish i had a sign to hold up to tell people that, it's just me, i joke around about everything, i'm actually not being mean/racist/over-reacting about something.
okay, so. things i'm looking forward to:
- finishing the book thief.
- the perks of being a wallflower film; ugh, emma watson is the biggest babe in the world.
- american pie reunion! the first AP movie is one of my faves. i really hope they have the awesome 90s music in this reunion movie.
- melbourne in june!
- and to see my favourite story ever on the stage, Annie.
- titanic next wednesday with the workmates. fark, i love you guys.

dreams.

You know what's super strange? I sometimes confuse dreams with reality. I've had these dreams, back when I was younger, and I thought they were real memories. We drove past a motel in Te Puna today and I had a flashback of a moment where I stayed the night there in the house where the owners lived and we watched Lassie. But, why would I stay there? No reason whatsoever.
I have many of these. When I was little, I must've just forgotten about these dreams and stored these memories aside and mistaken them for true memories.
Interesssssting!
I've been hanging with family, and I've realised how fantastic they all are. Hilarious, wonderful, quality people - I am so glad I am related to these people. We had the funniest dinner together; we are so loud, I'm pretty sure the waitresses were cracking up at us. NO REGRETS.

Bright Eyes.
This is the first day of my life
I swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain suddenly everything changed
They're spreading blankets on the beach
Yours is the first face that I saw
I think I was blind before I met you
Now I don't know where I am
I don't know where I've been
But I know where I want to go
And so I thought I'd let you know
That these things take forever
I especially am slow
But I realize that I need you
And I wondered if I could come home
I swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain suddenly everything changed
They're spreading blankets on the beach
Yours is the first face that I saw
I think I was blind before I met you
Now I don't know where I am
I don't know where I've been
But I know where I want to go
And so I thought I'd let you know
That these things take forever
I especially am slow
But I realize that I need you
And I wondered if I could come home
Remember the time you drove all night
Just to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange you said everything changed
You felt as if you'd just woke up
And you said "this is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"
So if you want to be with me
With these things there's no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I'd rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me
Just to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange you said everything changed
You felt as if you'd just woke up
And you said "this is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"
So if you want to be with me
With these things there's no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I'd rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

love always, charlie.

Is it possible to be in love with a book? yes? okay, so, i'm in love with a book. i said it. it's out. i have kind of been at a stale-mate with books, never quite connecting like i used to which was strange for me, and finally i have fell head over heels with this magnificent beauty of a Trade Me buy.
The Perks of Being A Wallflower.
I can relate SO, SO so much to Charlie. I think a lot of people can, which is why the book is so popular. I just read a part of the book that I feel like it was written by me, or for me. I have felt that way so many times. What a beautiful novel. My love for a good novel has come back, thanks Stephen Chbosky! I owe ya.
'Then, Patrick pointed at me and said something to Bob.
"He's something, isn't he?"
Bob nodded his head. Patrick then said something I don't think I'll ever forget.
"He's a wallflower."
And Bob really nodded his head. And the whole room nodded their head. And I started to feel nervous in the Bob way, but Patrick didn't let me get too nervous. He sat down next to me.
"You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand."
I didn't know that other people thought things about me. I didn't know they looked.'
- The Perks of Being a Wallflower, pg. 38.

Ahhh, this is bliss! 'Moving Out' is one of my favourite Billy Joel songs, and this guy ROCKED it. Ten outta ten, boy.
